When we started our business in 2003, we sold travel on eBay which is located in California. In order to do so, we had to register with the State of California's "Seller of Travel Program". California requires all sellers of travel to register and pay a fee to the Attorney General's Office and to display the registration number on all advertising. While not assuring that a company is reputable, a valid registration signals that the seller of travel has at least followed the law to be registered.
We no longer sell travel on eBay, and we refuse to continue to be extorted by the State of California to pay them for the opportunity to sell travel. We gain nothing from the fee we pay to the State of California.
Therefore, if you are a resident of California, we are not soliciting your business, nor will we accept you as our clients. We're sorry it has come to this. We'll be happy to recommend agents that will do a great job for you.
Thanks for your understanding.
